In addition to her school role, she has embraced opportunities with the NSW Board of Studies. She has been on a Commerce curriculum committee, an HSC Examination Committee (Business Studies), an assessor for the HSC Business Studies paper, HSC marker (Business Studies) and currently holds a contractual position of some significance involved with HSC Business Studies.

Amanda has a Bachelor of Education (Social Science) Hons and is currently completing a Masters of Educational  Leadership and Management.
