After starting his working life as a High School teacher, Fred went on to spend the next thirty years of working in private enterprise. During that time he has occupied senior roles in companies such as Ford Australia, Mars Inc. and Coca-Cola Amatil.

He is currently a Director of Australia's largest locally owned food company, Goodman Fielder.
He was one of the founding sponsors of the first ABW program in Australia in 1993 and was actively involved in many of the early programs. In latter years business commitments have lessened his direct involvement in Enterprise Education but he has definitely retained his interest and enthusiasm for such programs.

Fred has Degrees in Science and Education and a Masters Degree in Business Administration.
