Tom King is Managing Director of A.S.K Learning’s Asia business. He joined the company when it
commenced operations in 1998, originally working in a Business Development capacity.
Tom was successful in establishing new opportunities with a number of large companies that
continue to this day to be key clients of A.S.K Learning. For example, he initiated and managed
relationships with QANTAS, St George Bank, IBM, EMC, Symantec, Canon, Toyota, Sony and
Harvey Norman.
In 2003, Tom moved to Singapore to continue his work as a Business Development and Account
Manager. One year later he assumed the role of Managing Director, running the Singapore office
and driving the learning business throughout Asia.
The Singapore branch has grown significantly under Tom’s stewardship and is now A.S.K Learning’s
leading office in terms of sales and revenue. Some of Tom’s successes include –
• Developing a great network of highly qualified instructors in Korea and Japan to compliment
those in Singapore and Australia
• Growing the office from 2 permanent staff to 14 permanent staff
• Building the eLearning capability from scratch in 2004, to what is now one of the largest and
most recognised creative teams in the Asia Pacific
• Building a first class client list across a number of industries in Asia with leading organisations
such as Cisco Systems, HP, Dell, EMC, Symantec, Fuji Xerox, Nokia, Standard Chartered Bank,
Citi Bank, UBS, HSBC, DHL, Kraft and Government Investment Corporation (GIC)
Tom completed his Bachelor of Business degree at the University of Technology in Sydney. He has
a keen interest in all sports, history and agricultural science.
